Isyighfar
*Istighfar*
_Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa ‘ala niyatahu wa sirrahu_
*(O Allah! Forgive me all my sins, great and small, the first and the last, those that are apparent and those that are hidden)*
[Muslim 1:350]
Asking for forgiveness is a major source of barakah and a cause for success in this life and the Hereafter.
Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.”_
[Abu Dawud].
